We seek a highly skilled Blockchain Security Researcher to lead our Blockchain Security Research Team. This role focuses on discovering low and high-level vulnerabilities, researching exploits in decentralized applications (dApps), developing security tools, and enhancing proactive security measures to protect blockchain environments. As a team lead, you will also be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of security researchers, driving security strategy, and collaborating cross-functionally to improve our overall security posture.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-growing startup developing state-of-the-art blockchain technology while working at the forefront of security.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of blockchain security researchers, fostering innovation and collaboration.
- Find and analyze exploits in compilers, dApps, smart contracts, and blockchain networks.
- Develop tools for detecting and preventing attacks in blockchain ecosystems.
- Conduct deep forensic analysis of blockchain transactions, logs, and smart contract behaviors to understand attack vectors.
- Stay up to date with blockchain threat intelligence, emerging vulnerabilities, and new attack techniques.
- Design tailored security solutions for dApps, protocols, and critical network components.
- Proactively enhance security monitoring and threat detection for identified attacks.
- Collaborate with product, development, and security teams to improve security posture.
- Drive security research initiatives and contribute to industry-wide best practices.
Requirements
The right candidate:
- Has at least 3 years of experience leading security teams, defining technical direction, and driving security strategies.
- Has at least 5 years of hands-on experience in security research.
- Has deep knowledge of low-level security vulnerabilities, exploit development, attack techniques, and mitigation strategies.
- Experience in programming languages (Python, Rust, C++, or similar)
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and investigative skills.
Ideally experienced with:
- Deep understanding of blockchain security risks, exploits, and forensic techniques.
- Experience working with Starknet, Ethereum, or other blockchain networks.
- Prior experience in a startup environment.
- Strong technical writing skills for documentation and security reports.
- Effective leadership, communication, and collaboration skills across teams.
This role is perfect for a hands-on security-focused leader passionate about blockchain exploit discovery, proactive threat detection, and mentoring the next generation of security researchers. If you're eager to tackle complex threats and drive security innovation in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to have you on board.

What does a Rust developer in web3 do?
A Rust developer in the context of web3 is a programmer who uses the Rust programming language to build applications and tools for the decentralized web, also known as the web3 ecosystem
The specific responsibilities of a Rust developer in web3 may vary depending on the project or organization they are working for, but in general, they would be responsible for writing, testing, and maintaining Rust code that is used to build web3 applications
This could include things like creating smart contracts for decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, building tools for interacting with decentralized storage networks, or developing decentralized applications (dApps) for the web3 ecosystem.
