About the role

We're on the lookout for a Technical Writer at Tren Finance to develop captivating and informative content that articulates Tren's vision. This position is instrumental in advancing our business by leveraging strategic distribution channels, proficient community management, and establishing a robust presence on social media. The ideal candidate will be deeply entrenched in the DeFi space, especially within the Ethereum ecosystem, and should possess a profound understanding and passion for protocols such as AAVE, MakerDAO, Uniswap, and more.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive and user-friendly technical documentation, user manuals, and technical overviews customized for users, developers, analysts, and LPs.
• Create long form and short form content for various community channels such as twitter, medium, linkedin, etc.
• Foster collaboration with technical and cross-functional teams to guarantee precision and consistency in technical content.
• Maintain consistent engagement with community members on Discord to convey our vision and value proposition effectively.
• Supply the design team with briefs that are concise, succinct, and creative.
• Keep current on topics, including but not limited to DEXs, lending protocols, CDP protocols, oracles, yield farming, staking, and the broader DeFi landscape to reflect the latest trends in our documentation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise as a content writer, copywriter, or in a similar role within the DeFi sector.
• Showcase a portfolio of published articles.
• Possess exceptional writing and editing skills in English.
• Strong technical proficiency in DeFi protocols such as AAVE, MakerDAO, Curve, Uniswap, etc.
• Solid understanding of how CDP protocols function.
• Established background and demonstrable experience in an editorial role.
• Familiarity with social media algorithms and analytics, making decisions based on data.
• Proficiency in content creation and video editing tools.
• Experience with CRM, content management systems, marketing automation tools, and various social media channels.

• Experience working with Figma or other content creation tools
