The individual in this role will be part of our discretionary trading team, which is focused on executing and researching the current discretionary portfolio. The ideal candidate has experience in discretionary trading strategies across various asset classes, including equities, futures, and currencies. This opportunity will provide the right candidate an opportunity to have a large impact on the productivity of a newly formed effort within a successful proprietary trading firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in executing discretionary trading strategies across various asset classes, including equities, futures, and currencies.
• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trading opportunities.
• Monitor market conditions, news, and events to make informed trading decisions.
• Collaborate with senior traders and the research team to optimize trading strategies.
• Utilize Python for data analysis and to develop tools that enhance trading performance.
• Maintain and improve trading systems and processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top university in Taiwan, preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in trading within the traditional finance industry.
• Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial markets.
• Basic proficiency in Python for data analysis and tool development.
• Experience in cryptocurrency trading is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment.
