We are looking for a rockstar marketer to come onboard as our Head of Marketing & Community as we release our groundbreaking DeFi products to the world! 🚀

You should enjoy showcasing new tech, launching exciting products and cultivating a community of passionate Gromies. This is a great opportunity to drive the narrative and community engagement of a new and unique DeFi protocol.

As the leading member of our marketing team you will be the central point of contact to build out our marketing function from the floor up, responsible for seeking out new market opportunities and strategically targeting customer bases to promote the Gro brand! 💫

About Gro

Our DeFi product combines the technological innovation of blockchain and the best of traditional finance. We bridge the worlds of DeFi and legacy banking to create solutions that didn’t exist in either before. We believe there is a change happening for the better in the world of financial technology, and we want to be part of it!

You are joining after our latest product launch, so will have the chance to get stuck in right at a really exciting stage of our journey. We are based in London so you can join us there or work remotely from anywhere in the world while working +/- 2 hours from UTC timezone!

What you’ll do

• Engage our community to understand their requirements and help evolve our products

• Design and run impactful events aimed at increasing community growth & participation

• Drive punchy content marketing campaigns via our social media and channels

• Produce compelling thought leadership and easily digestible market insights

• Develop and execute an insight-driven marketing and communications strategy

We’d love to hear from you if you have the following

• 3+ years experience in senior marketing or strategic communication roles

• Prior experience in community management roles (preferably in Web3/DeFi space)

• Track record of delivering marketing strategies (preferably involving hands-on experience in product/brand launches)

• Resilient leader with evidence of autonomously executing successful growth campaigns

• Fluency with core social media platforms (preferably with knowledge of DeFi trends)

• Creative entrepreneur who can think outside the box and challenge the status quo

• A great sense of humour! (memes, GIFs, and DeFi lexicon: WAGMI…)

• Desire to work in a fast paced start-up environment with a global team

Extra bits that we also like to hear

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience

• Published content in tech or crypto

• Familiarity with web analytics or metrics tools
