You will be joining a new team which has been created to facilitate the next stage of our growth which sits within an existing Financial Crime team. Acting as the first line of defence, the transaction monitoring will be both on the Blockchain and Fiat worlds, where you will be responsible for processing/clearing alerts and where appropriate escalating suspicious activity in order for SARs to be filed.

What you’ll do 👀

• Timely processing/clearance of the transaction monitoring alert, ensuring that the queue is empty as close of business
• Provide input and ideas to further improve our transaction monitoring programme, i.e. suggestions for new rules
• As we build out the team with phase 2 and 3 recruitment train newcomers of procedures and use of transaction monitoring software
• Contribute to ensuring procedures and process maps are always kept up to date

You should apply if ✅

• Minimum of 2 years AML experience working within either FinTech or Investment Banking industry with experience with Crypto & Fiat transaction monitoring
• ACAMS / ACFCS or ICA accreditation
• Wallet screening experience (Elliptic, Chainalysis, TRM, Scorechain, CipherTrace)
• Ability to demonstrate a practical approach to alert processing / analysis
• Ability to feed rule / investigation output back into AML Programme
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Interest in crypto
• Comfort and belief to challenge the status quo
• First-rate decision making skills, bias for action and sound judgement.
• Be flexible & open minded approach

• Able to work well independently or as part of a team.
