As a UX Designer for Tracer DAO, you will be instrumental in ensuring a streamlined, no-hassle user experience for all Tracer users. With experience from designing end-to-end experiences for professional and retail users of financial products, you’ll contribute to the success of Tracer’s current and upcoming products through Tracer’s web and mobile experiences.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and synthesise complex user needs into tangible design solutions
• Plan and facilitate workshops along the design process to align the product vision
• Strategise, conceptualise, and design new products & features across multiple product teams
• Work with Tracer’s Product Owners to bring designs to life
• Build prototypes to communicate interaction details and broader journeys that can also be used to test and validate with users
• Strive for functional, simple, and easy user experiences across all Tracer products and all platforms

Requirements

• You have a background in front-end/full-stack development
• 2+ years experience designing user-centred products
• Demonstrable strategic thinking on client projects and experience running workshops and design sprints
• Good fundamental knowledge of formal design principles including colour, typography, and layout
• Clean and clear aesthetics optimised around modern design standards for developer tools and technology products. Confident in Desktop and Mobile Design.
• Proficiency with common UX Design tools - we use Figma
• Flexible and responsive. Experience in agile teams is a plus.
• First-hand experience with DeFi applications on Ethereum
• An interest in the blockchain industry, especially Ethereum and DeFi is preferred, to ensure design decisions and graphics accurately represent the core concepts & workflows of the industry
• Bonus: experience in voice user interface design

Working at a DAO
After successfully interviewing with some of the core builders, your contract will be pushed to the DAO for perusal. The core team will help you in drafting the contract and setting your remuneration in TCR and/or stablecoins. You'll be directly contracted by the Tracer DAO and you will be remunerated directly from the Tracer DAO Growth Fund, as set in a Growth Fund Proposal. Please note that the relationship established with the DAO is not an employment contract and you will have to ensure regulatory & taxational compliance within your jurisdiction yourself.
