We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Legal Counsel to join our team and provide comprehensive legal guidance and support to Creative Catalyst. You will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, protecting its intellectual property, and mitigating legal risks.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and counsel to the company on a wide range of legal matters, including:
- Corporate governance and compliance
- Blockchain and cryptocurrency regulations
- Intellectual property protection
- Data privacy and security
- Contract negotiation and drafting
- Dispute resolution

Conduct legal research and analysis to identify potential legal risks and opportunities.

Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, policies, and disclosures.

Manage legal due diligence processes for potential partnerships and investments.

Stay abreast of relevant legal developments and regulatory changes in the blockchain and creative industries.

Collaborate with the company's leadership team to develop and implement legal strategies.

Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on blockchain and cryptocurrency law.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications.
- Experience with intellectual property law, data privacy law, and contract law.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
