Who Weâre Looking For
We are hiring a Software QA Engineer to join the Engineering team at Yuga Labs. We have tons to do, building the future of web3, and we need help making sure that the software we ship is functional and secure. Weâre looking for a leader with experience working closely with a group of stakeholders and engineers, defining test strategies and executing test plans, and ensuring the overall quality of the products we have at Yuga.
The Job
- Define testing processes and strategies for software products on a case by case basis
- Work closely with engineering and product managers to develop processes that allow us to ship software quickly and confidently
- Review system requirements and designs to create, conduct, and maintain well-structured test plans and regression suites
- Recommend improvements and provide risk assessment during development cycle
- Provide timely and meaningful reporting during testing cycle
- Investigate, analyze, and thoroughly document software defects in tracking system
- Plan and coordinate testing activities with various groups in the company
Your Skills
- Ability to work in a remote, fast-paced environment
- Ability to lead projects autonomously with minimal supervision
- 3+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Experience creating, writing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Experience with performance and load testing
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Great communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of web3, blockchain, and crypto is a plus
- Knowledge of automated testing is a plus
The annual salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $140,000. The actual annual salary paid for this position will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skills, prior experiences, training, company needs, and current market demands. The annual salary range for this position is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future. This position may also be eligible for salary increases, bonuses, equity awards, and benefits.
