About the Role:
As a Business Development Specialist focusing on the APAC region, you will play a critical role in our ecosystem growth strategy. Your primary focus will be on identifying and nurturing partnership opportunities, managing partner onboarding and marketing, and laying the groundwork for our ecosystem. This role requires a blend of research skills, excellent communication, and a results-driven mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and identify potential partners through various channels, including networking events, online research, and social media platforms.
- Actively seek out projects to build on Sahara Labs and partners to integrate with our platform.
- Attend blockchain conferences, AI symposiums, and Web3 networking events.
- Manage partner onboarding processes and develop marketing strategies to enhance partnerships.
- Build and maintain relationships with partners.
- Research target blockchain and AI partners to understand their needs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and refine outreach strategies and co-marketing opportunities with partners.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role.
- Familiarity with and keen interest in emerging technologies, particularly AI and Web3.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to use either as a working language.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in partner collaboration negotiation and managing partner onboarding & marketing.
- Ability to design partner growth campaigns to grow KPIs (e.g., users, API calls) or experience working with Growth Marketers who provide these strategies.
