BitGo is looking for a Full Stack Engineer who will join our Security team. BitGo's product offering is both wide and deep yet remains rooted in our core mission of providing trust and leverage with digital assets. As a major provider of custodial and financial services for digital assets, BitGo's technology stack services major clients worldwide and is thus responsible for processing millions of cryptocurrency transactions daily. Our integrated platforms interact with a number of exchanges, agencies, and governments, and we use the best technology the industry offers to build them.
Our responsibility is to build the most secure products for cryptocurrency as the security team. While we prioritize security in making product design-related decisions, we build scalable products with the crypto wallet industry's best user experience. The role of the Full Stack Software Engineer at BitGo is to own the front end of the secure cold wallet that can scale to trading $1B+ and work closely with the Coins Team to write tests to make sure our security products such as cold wallet and HSM work well with the BitGo's platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement new user-facing features in collaboration with the platform team
- Collaborate with the design team to implement clean, elegant user experiences.
- Specialize in building responsive and elegant web applications that are secure and scalable.
- Optimize secure web applications to maximize speed and scale.
- Write client-side code for web-based applications, create secure, fast, easy-to-use, high volume production applications, and develop prototypes.
- Write clean and maintainable code using engineering best practices (unit testing, automation, source control, design patterns, etc
- Collaborate with DevOps team to deploy security products
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer
- React expertise
- Very knowledgeable with HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- Experienced with APIs and SDKs
- Functional knowledge of CI/CD environments, DevOps deployment tools, and git workflows
- Be detail-oriented with special attention to design
- Familiarity with the principles of good user experience design
- Write clean and maintainable code using engineering best practices (unit testing, automation, source control, design patterns, etc
- Be a team player (startup experience is highly desirable)
- A passion for user experience and blockchain technology
Nice to have:
- Strong experience with Node.js
- Experience in the security industry
- Experience working with containerized applications and Kubernetes for orchestration
- Familiarity with digital wallets and HSMs
- Familiarity with yubikeys
- Experience designing user interfaces
