The Ecosystem Team is responsible for marketing, developer relations and partnerships initiatives that support Mysten Labs’ ecosystem. We’re looking for a Community Manager to support the Ecosystem Team.
The Marketing Team seeks an experienced Community Manager to create programs that aim to excite, engage, and educate those who are the beating (blue) heart of Sui. You will report to the Social Media & Content Director, working with regional community mod teams and agencies to ensure delivery against our priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a global engagement strategy and operationalize its execution across owned channels, partner teams, and external communities (incl. DAOs)
- Lead the formation, management, and oversight of our dynamic community mod programs and the future Sui Ambassador Program
- Drive community contributions content; set and oversee a community-content pipeline including Ambassadors, in collaboration with partner teams
- Be the beating heart of the Sui community — act as a champion of the wider community successes and milestones across awareness and brand activation developments
- Proactive on community needs through social listening, able to distill the noise into actionable insights that serve the interests of Sui members
- Fortify community tools & engagement platforms. This includes partnering with Marketing, Engineering and Product, to help design the journey across web, social and other platforms
- Travel to some of the major events will be required for this role
- Grown and nurtured sizable brand communities and understand how to be the voice of the community, advocating for their needs to the business.
- Based in North America time zones
- Ability to pivot quickly and adapt to competing and ever-evolving priorities
- Extreme attention to detail; ability to prioritize workload and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to work independently and autonomously, while maintaining a team-oriented mindset
- Understands highly technical concepts and can translate into common language that captures audience mindshare
- Knowledge of social media analytics, including key metrics and how to use them to measure performance
- Composure in a crisis; satisfaction when finding opportunities and solutions in an often ambiguous and hypergrowth environment
- Experience in web3 a plus; passion and knowledge of NFTs and crypto required
- 2-3 years of community management experience, preferably in technology or media
- Native English speaker
- Willingness to appear on camera and engage with audiences; travel domestically and internationally as needed
- An enthusiasm to roll up your sleeves and build and execute all parts of the Community function

- Providing regular updates and information to the community about the progress and status of the technology
- Dentifying and addressing any issues or conflicts within the community, and working to resolve them in a positive and constructive manner.
