About Polygon Labs

Polygon Labs is a software development company building and developing a network of aggregated blockchains via the Agglayer, secured by Ethereum. As public infrastructure, the Agglayer will bring together user bases and liquidity for any connected chain, and leverage Ethereum as a settlement layer. Polygon Labs has also contributed to the core development of several widely-adopted scaling protocols and tools for launching blockchains, including Polygon PoS, Polygon zkEVM, and Polygon Miden, which is in development as well as Polygon CDK.

Your Role

Are you passionate about transforming ideas into seamless operational systems? As Program Manager for the Polygon Community Treasury, you’ll be the engine behind the smooth execution of ambitious programs to grow the ecosystem’s founders. Working directly with Community Treasury leadership, you’ll refine our grants infrastructure and ensure compliance across governance, operations, and partners, ultimately empowering contributors across the Polygon and Ethereum ecosystems.Ā

The ideal candidate holds a high bar for clarity, follow-through, and execution. We’re looking for someone who delights at bringing programs to life by making small details shine. In doing so, you will build your own relationships with key founders and contributors across the Polygon and Ethereum communities, and will operate as a key pillar in supporting the growth of both ecosystems. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with a strong trajectory across community, governance, and finance domains.

Your Responsibilities

  • Program Operations: Manage the full lifecycle of Community Treasury Grants, including application intake, review processes, compliance checks, legal coordination, and disbursements.

  • Board Coordination: Own the logistics for Community Treasury Board (CTB) meetings, such as curating agendas, tracking deliverables, and ensuring clear followups.

  • Execution & Communication: Lead operational implementation of Treasury programs by engaging with applicants, conducting eligibility reviews, and guiding them through next steps.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface with internal teams (e.g., Governance, Marketing, Founder Experience) and community collaborators to ensure strong alignment and clean execution.

  • Impact Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of transparency and impact reports; track and report on funded initiatives’ progress and challenges.

  • Process Optimization: Identify gaps and inefficiencies in workflows; implement improvements to support scale and transparency.

What You'll Need

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in program operations, grants management, or a similar role.

  • Proven track record of handling complex workflows with precision, ideally in a fast-moving or decentralized environment.

  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills—comfortable managing multiple priorities with minimal oversight.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, especially in communicating with external stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

  • Familiarity with grant tools and operations-related platforms.

  • Self-starter mindset and strong sense of ownership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of community-led funding models and decentralized governance structures (especially within Ethereum or EVM ecosystems).

  • Strong analytical skills: capable of tracking program data to inform improvements.

  • Experience collaborating within online communities, DAOs, or protocol ecosystems.
