The Sui Foundation exists to support the development, growth and adoption of the Sui network. Sui is the first permissionless Layer 1 blockchain designed from the ground up to enable creators and developers to build unique Web3 experiences from gaming to finance.
The Sui Foundation is committed to three decentralization principles; Embrace transparency and level the playing field, Communicate openly to build a culture of trust, and Engage directly with the community.
Mission:
Onboard the next billion users to web3 by supporting the advancement and global adoption of the Sui blockchain.
Vision:
To create a better world that unlocks opportunities through universal access and individual ownership.
Location: North America (Remote)
Role Overview:
Sui is looking for a CRM & Community Lifecycle Lead to own the systems, strategy, and execution that shape how we connect with our global community — from developers to contributors to early adopters.
This role is 70% CRM + lifecycle ownership, and 30% strategic community engagement and event planning. You’ll be responsible for designing a scalable, data-informed CRM infrastructure that allows us to build real relationships at scale — through personalized updates, contributor journeys, and lifecycle communications.
You’ll also help guide how we engage community members in North America — a key geographic anchor for our global strategy — and partner with local teams to support event activations and in-person community moments.
What You'll Do:
Own and manage CRM systems and workflows to support 500K+ community members worldwide
Select, implement, and manage tools (e.g., HubSpot, Segment, Braze, etc.) to build segmented, high-impact communications
Design and execute lifecycle email programs and newsletters — track open/click rates, engagement timing, spam risk, and more
Strategically shape audience segmentation, contributor funnels, and lifecycle stages (CLM) to deepen engagement
Partner with local community leads to ensure regional initiatives (e.g., university programs, meetups) connect to a unified global narrative
Represent Sui at select events in North America and help guide our strategy in the region
Collaborate across Community, Ecosystem, Events, and DevRel to keep messaging aligned and impactful
Analyze performance of CRM efforts and evolve based on data, experimentation, and user feedback
About You:
5 - 7+ years experience in CRM, lifecycle, or community operations roles — ideally in tech, developer ecosystems, or Web3
Strong hands-on experience with CRM platforms and tools like Segment, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar
Deep understanding of lifecycle communication — from audience building to execution to performance analysis
Strategic thinker who can operate at both 10,000 ft and in the tools
Passionate about building relationships through systems, not just scale
Comfortable speaking at or supporting IRL events, especially across North America
Experienced in managing global communications and contributing to international strategy
Fluency in managing and interpreting CLM and retention KPIs
Bonus Points:
Experience building or supporting community programs (ambassadors, contributors, educators)
Web3 ecosystem experience or high curiosity about decentralized communities
Familiarity with tools like Airtable, Notion, and Discord for community and contributor tracking
Why This Role Matters
Community is at the core of Sui’s growth — and this role sits at the intersection of people, systems, and storytelling. As CRM & Community Lifecycle Lead, you’ll help us build a stronger, more connected global community, starting with the right infrastructure and anchored in strategic engagement across North America and beyond.
Our team is 100% remote and we are hiring across the world. Here at the Sui Foundation, you’ll be joining a world-class team with tremendous growth potential as we bring the next billion users to web3.
