The Role

We’re looking for a Head of Treasury & Token Markets to own Molecule’s treasury strategy and token market operations. Sitting at the intersection of finance, crypto markets, and DeFi, this role will ensure long-term runway, manage risk, and strengthen liquidity for BIO and partner tokens across CEXs, DEXs, and OTC markets.

You’ll be hands-on in treasury management, liquidity provisioning, and market coordination, while also setting policy frameworks and reporting standards for leadership and the board. The right candidate combines a financial operator’s discipline with a crypto-native understanding of trading, liquidity mechanics, and DeFi innovation.

What You’ll Do

• Manage multi-chain treasury holdings (ETH, BTC, SOL, stables, LPs, staked assets)

• Ensure 6+ months fiat/stable runway through rebalancing, hedging, and off-ramps

• Forecast cash flow vs. burn, and prepare regular treasury reports for leadership/board

• Execute treasury policy (DCA sales, AMM rebalancing, off-ramping schedules)

• Oversee and coordinate with market makers, ensuring execution quality and liquidity depth

• Manage token liquidity across AMMs, DEXs, and CEXs (ranges, LPs, slippage control)

• Plan and execute token sales (Kraken, OTC deals, structured transactions)

• Optimize trading volumes, spreads, and liquidity health for BIO and ecosystem tokens

• Structure OTC agreements, convertibles, options, and other treasury monetization tools

• Support token incentive design for partnerships and liquidity campaigns

• Evaluate/mitigate risk exposure from derivatives and structured deals

• Build dashboards and KPIs for treasury exposure, liquidity, and market health

• Report weekly/monthly on treasury performance, liquidity operations, and strategic deals

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years experience in crypto trading, treasury management, DeFi funds, or market making

• Deep knowledge of CEX/DEX liquidity, AMMs, staking, and DeFi protocols

• Experience designing treasury policies, structuring OTC deals, and managing execution

• Ability to balance macro treasury planning with hands-on trade execution

• Strong communication skills to translate on-chain operations into clear financial reporting

• (Nice to have) Experience with derivatives structuring or token launch mechanics

• Runway protection — 6+ months of fiat/stable reserves maintained at all times

• Liquidity health — competitive spreads, slippage, and depth across BIO and key pairs

• Execution efficiency — minimized costs from treasury sales and LP adjustments

• Clear reporting — accurate, timely treasury and market updates for leadership/board

• Strategic impact — well-structured deals that strengthen Molecule’s treasury position
