StarkWare is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Controller to support our dynamic finance team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will lead critical financial operations, ensure compliance with US GAAP, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Responsibilities
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting close processes, including preparing financial reports for investors.
- Develop, implement, and automate key financial policies, procedures, and controls in key reporting processes
- Work with the Company’s external auditors/advisors on audit, accounting matters, and other financial issues
- Monitor the Order-to-cash process, including reviewing customer agreements, invoices, and collections.
- Manage tax compliance and reporting requirements
- Track and monitor digital assets balances and transactions
- Other tasks, as directed by the Director of Finance
Requirements
Must have:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification and experience with a Big 4 accounting firm
- 3+ years of Experience post internship in High-tech companies, preferably SaaS
- Strong knowledge in US GAAP and experience with auditing high-tech companies
- Fluent English
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; Strong Excel Skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to take ownership of projects and deadlines
- Comfortable with working in a fast-paced start-up environment and meeting multiple deadlines and being a team player.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Priority ERP system
- Familiarity with the crypto and Blockchain ecosystem
