As a Senior Back-End Engineer you should lead by example - driving the technical discussions, influencing the approach and making a positive impact on the team's development by advocating the best engineering practices. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Kotlin & Java Build and optimize APIs for seamless integration with front-end and third-party systems. Work with relational and NoSQL databases to manage and process large-scale data efficiently. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment and testing processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality, and user-centric solutions. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Work closely with design and product teams to ensure seamless integration of user-facing and server-side features.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Proficiency in Java or Kotlin Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, API design, and database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL) Understanding of system design principles and scalable architectures Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD tools. Experience with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to code quality.
