As the Venture Investments Lead, you will drive, innovate, and expand our presence in the VC ecosystem by leading the relationship with our funding partners, brokering deals end to end, and fostering collaborative partnerships. This role presents an exciting opportunity to shape the future of investments in the rapidly evolving Web3 landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Implement VC strategy around potential direct, co-investment and funding of funds to influence the ecosystem

• Be accountable to the ROI of investments for Chain Link while driving Chain Link adoption. 

• Ensure C-Level relationships are brokered and maintained across top VCs and Chainlink Exec Leadership

• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and technological advancements in the Web3 and crypto space, adapting strategies accordingly.

• Develop and present comprehensive quarterly updates for CLL, including detailed investment performance reviews, strategic insights, and in-depth materials that provides CLL with a full view of our investment portfolio and future outlook.

• Drive collaboration and growth by using prior experience in VC firms to create strong connections and sustainable partnerships.

• Review pitch decks & prepare our BUILD projects for VC discussions

• Leverage existing relationships and focus on US (primary) and European (secondary) funds. 

• Broker BUILD fundraise within the legal limitations

Requirements:

• 5+ years working on deals with VCs investment capacity, in investment banking or fund fundraising,  selling deals to VCs/PE and 2+ years experience working at Web3 VCs and/or accelerators with proven track record in brokering deals for Web3. Demonstrated relationships within the Venture Capital (VC) world and Web3 space.

• Able to create  internal presentations and documentation for quarterly and annual updates for our investments and help with  pitch deck reviews, education programs, networking events, mentorship programs, fundraising strategies, etc. delivering maximum value in minimum time

• Deep expertise in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and associated investment strategies

• Strategically minded and can create a strategy how the VC strategy can help influence Chainlink revenue and influence

• Experience with advanced crypto trading platforms or DeFi (Decentralized Finance) would be a significant advantage.

• Multilingual abilities or specific regional expertise that aligns with the company's growth strategies.
