Senior Design-Technical Diagrams & Presentations (Contract)
Objectives of this Role
- Design potentially complex diagrams that reflect concepts that come directly from the project founder and visionary, or from the internal content team or other executives. These designs would include multiple options for creative direction, and extensive iteration for technical accuracy and clarity
- Design and create first-class, visually stunning Google Slide & Keynote templates for both internal and external presentations, with a focus on blockchain technology
- Create and ensure high-quality design elements, including vivid detail and animation
- Partner with colleagues to contribute ideas on presentation goals, strategy and design concepts
- Communicate with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure presentation concept alignment
- Self-manage and execute multiple projects, meeting deadlines
- Be a collaborative and trusted partner within Chainlink Labs
- Follow and contribute to brand guidelines
- Stay current on creative software skills and trends
Qualifications
- 8+ years of graphic design/presentation design experience
- Demonstrated portfolio of technical and/or process diagrams and impactful presentations
- Knowledge and experience in motion design and/or UX design
- Experience with technical and process designs that are extremely detailed
- Passion for distilling technical, complex processes into beautiful, easy-to-understand stories
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and ownership of projects. Experience working in a fast-paced, always-changing environment.
- Mastery of Google Slides, Keynote, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are required, along with an understanding of how to efficiently share large media files for cross-collaboration
- Experience designing infographics that are clear, concise, and visually appealing
- Impeccable attention to detail across all media platforms; Strong verbal, written, and graphic media abilities
- Successful history working under tight deadlines with multiple projects and teaming with cross-functional groups
- Self-managed and achievement oriented; Receptive to redirection and design feedback
- Occasional international travel
- Blockchain interest or experience (preference for familiarity with Chainlink)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on a remote, cross-functional design team
- Understands branding and company identity. Experience developing, following, and enforcing Style Guidelines is required
- Experienced working with senior stakeholders to identify and prioritize needs, define project requirements, and manage expectations and risks
