About the role
We are looking for a Blockchain Backend Developer with back-end expertise to join the DappLooker core development team.
As a Blockchain Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring our data reaches our data scientists and that we have the right interfaces for our users' needs.
By being one of the core blockchain developers, you will have a large impact on the direction of the protocol and blockchain applications both from a design and technical perspective
Responsibilities
Help define vision and roadmap for decentralization of back-end services
Being involved in protocol design and development
Writing simple, high-quality, and secure smart contracts
Working with security auditing firms to ensure the safety of code.

Requirements
- 0-2 years of hands-on experience in Web services and API development that have scaled to thousands of users.
- Understanding of subgraphs, graph protocol, and Solidity. You should written smart contracts.
- Familiarity with Ethereum EVM experience would be great.
- Should be good with JavaScript, Typescript, and ES6 standards.
- Hands-on with RDBMS, NoSQL, and databases like Postgres
- Experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs
- Experience in an Agile development environment.
- Familiarity with GitHub and any cloud preferably AWS.
- Understanding web3 protocols such as DeFi, NFTs, and DAOs are a plus, as well as SubGraphs.
Location
We are a remote-first company anywhere you would like to work from. You should have a good internet connection. We move fast, so a mindset for rapid test-and-learn is a must, along with a desire to work in (and understand) the analytics/blockchain space.
