About the Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst Intern who sees data as a narrative tool, not just a spreadsheet.

In this role, you won’t just pull numbers; you’ll help teams understand user behavior and make better decisions. You’ll work closely with product managers and marketing teams to see how users interact with the product and find ways to improve growth and retention. We’re looking for someone who is curious, asks questions, and enjoys exploring data to find insights. You’ll also receive mentorship and guidance to help you grow your skills as a data analyst.

Your work will help answer questions like: Where are users dropping off? What drives long-term retention? Which product changes meaningfully move our metrics?

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze product and business questions

    • Look at user behavior and product data to understand trends

    • Analyze things like conversion funnels, user activity, and performance metrics

    • Identify opportunities to improve growth and reduce user drop-off

  • Work with different teams

    • Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams

    • Help turn business questions into data analysis

    • Share insights that help teams make better decisions

  • Build useful dashboards

    • Create dashboards that help teams track performance

    • Make data easier for teams to explore and understand

  • Help improve our data systems

    • Work with the data team to improve data quality

    • Help organize and define key metrics

    • Support projects that use data for advanced analytics and AI

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

  • Some experience with data analysis or data-related projects (internships, school projects, etc.)

  • Basic to strong SQL skills

  • Interest in analyzing user behavior or product data

  • Ability to break down unclear business questions into data analysis

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with analytics tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics

  • Experience with dashboards such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Quicksight

  • Experience running or analyzing A/B tests

  • Some knowledge of Python or R

  • Interest in modern technologies like AI or cloud tools

What Success Looks Like

  1. Teams understand what drives their key metrics

  2. More decisions are made using data

  3. Dashboards and analytics tools are widely used and trusted

What’s in it for you:

  • Friendly and fun start-up work culture

  • Convenient work location located in the heart of CBD area

  • Vibrant office with a well-stocked pantry

How do I start a Web3 career?

If you're interested in starting a career in Web3, here are a few steps you can take:

  1. First, it's important to gain a solid understanding of the underlying technologies that make up the Web3 ecosystem, such as blockchain, cryptography, and decentralized networks. You can do this by reading books and articles, taking online courses, or attending workshops and conferences.
  2. Next, you'll want to build a portfolio of projects that showcase your skills and knowledge. This can include creating dApps (decentralized applications) using blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, contributing to open-source projects, or writing articles and tutorials on Web3-related topics.
  3. Networking is also an important part of any career, and the Web3 space is no exception. Attend meetups and conferences, join online communities, and make connections with other professionals in the field. This can help you learn from others, share your own expertise, and potentially find job opportunities.
  4. Finally, consider getting certified in Web3 technologies. There are several organizations that offer certification programs, which can help demonstrate your proficiency and set you apart from other candidates in the job market.
