Let’s go!  Your mission Lead and scale the team powering our Payments Infrastructure—owning everything from PSP integrations to seamless connectivity with a diverse ecosystem of internal and external services. You'll be at the heart of a critical function, ensuring our platform remains resilient, scalable, and ready to support 25M+ users. What you’ll do

Shape the technical vision for our Payments Infrastructure, partnering with Product to define and refine the roadmap; balancing innovation, technical debt, and service impact. Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team, creating an environment where engineers are empowered to do their best work; even in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment. Drive agile execution with precision: lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure delivery remains smooth and iterative improvement is continuous. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering leaders, product stakeholders, and business teams to ensure alignment with company-wide architectural and strategic goals. Invest in your team’s long-term success: conduct thoughtful 1:1s, set career development plans, and provide coaching that supports both professional growth and personal resilience during periods of change.

Who you are

Experienced engineering leader with a track record of building and scaling reliable, high-performance systems. Confident, empathetic, and adaptable—able to bring structure to ambiguity, lead architectural direction, and guide teams through complex problems. Demonstrated expertise in senior technical roles, including hands-on development of digital products, service-oriented architecture design, and agile, iterative delivery. Committed to team growth and development, with a strong background in performance management, career progression, and cultivating a culture of continuous feedback. Technically sharp and detail-focused, with bonus experience in PHP or Java, DevOps tools, Infrastructure-as-Code, Apache Kafka, and event-driven microservices. What’s in it for you
