About the Company
Meld is the only global network enabling seamless access to digital assets. We empower users to move effortlessly between fiat and on-chain assets, including stablecoins, bitcoin, and hundreds of blockchain networks. Our mission is to bring the fiat economy fully on-chain, driving a future of borderless, frictionless, and powerful commerce.
We have marquee customers and investors, and we’re looking to grow the team to help build a more robust, fair and modern financial economy. Meld is well funded with a core team from Square, Paypal and Tesla.
We’re rapidly growing and looking for smart, driven, accomplished, and hard working team members from diverse backgrounds to scale the company.
You have experience in the fintech and crypto ecosystems; at a minimum you are interested in crypto and use it in your personal life. Achieving our mission will require intense focus and dedication. Impact matters more than hours—but the work is demanding and our bar is high. Building fast and meaningful is not for everyone, please consider this when you apply and talk to us.
About the Role
We’re hiring a Head of Operations to own and scale the engine that powers Meld across business operations, revenue operations, and developer support. You’ll manage a high-performing team (3–4 people), build the processes and systems that keep us running smoothly, and partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver a best-in-class developer and customer experience. You have drive, hunger, intellectual rigor. You are an owner.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a rockstar team
- Be detailed oriented, be a do-er and a leader: player-coach mentality critical
- Be attuned to working in a fast growing, startup environment
Specifically:
- Team & Leadership
- Hire, manage, and develop a 3–4 person Ops org spanning BizOps, RevOps, and Developer Support; set goals, coach performance, and grow the team as the company scales.
- Establish operating rhythms (Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly business reviews), ownership lines, SLAs, and clear escalation paths across stakeholders.
- Business Operations
- Network partners: Own day-to-day relationships, pricing matrices, and technical integrations with on/off-ramp, banking, compliance, and liquidity partners; run quarterly reviews and performance scorecards.
- Knowledge & documentation: Drive company-wide knowledge sharing—source-of-truth docs for processes, runbooks, FAQs, integration guides, and RCAs; enforce version control and ownership.
- CRM (Attio): Admin and architecture for Attio; define objects/fields, pipelines, automations, and permissions; ensure data quality, deduping, and integrations with product analytics, billing, and support.
- Revenue Operations
- Existing revenue & growth: Build a reliable forecast from Attio (pipelines, stages, conversion) and reconcile to actuals (invoices/collections) with Finance; surface trends on expansion, churn, and partner-driven growth.
- Maintain GTM dashboards and cohort analyses; implement pricing/packaging changes and partner commission logic in RevOps tooling.
- Developer Support (External & Internal)
- Lead triage for integration issues; maintain runbooks and SDK/snippet libraries; ensure crisp handoffs to Engineering with reproducible reports and logs.
- Keep public developer assets (docs, guides, status updates) current; measure and improve time-to-first-transaction and support deflection.
- Define SLAs/SLOs for API uptime and support response; run incident coordination and postmortems.
- Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner with Engineering/Product on launch readiness, capacity planning, and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with Compliance/Risk on KYB/KYC workflows, vendor diligence, and policy adherence.
- Present weekly insights to leadership; turn data into decisions and decisions into action.
Qualifications
- 4–8 years in Operations/RevOps/Business Systems at a high-growth tech company; 2+ years managing people.
- Proven ownership of CRM; strong spreadsheets, comfort with SQL/BI, and systems thinking.
- Built scalable processes, documentation, and dashboards; bias to automation over heroics.
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder skills; you set clear expectations and hit them.
Required Skills
- Nice to have: experience with partner/integration ecosystems and developer products/APIs; able to read logs/webhooks and collaborate with engineers.
Benefits
Despite being an early-stage company, we’re excited to offer comprehensive and competitive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) for pre-tax retirement savings. Our salary and equity package is competitive: we want to attract the best folks! While we are remote-friendly, we are primarily hiring in the SF Bay Area or New York. Team members who join us should expect to come into the office at least a few days per week. If we hire you outside of an office location, you’ll be expected to be available during hours that overlap with the team.
Equal Opportunity Statement
Meld is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
