What are the role responsibilities?
- Work with protocol engineers to implement Cannon, Optimism’s next-generation fault prover
- Collaborate with the Ethereum community to specify and implement Ethereum Improvement Proposals
- Perform performance analysis and implement performance improvements to Geth and other Ethereum clients
What skills do you bring?
- 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role
- 4+ years of experience with Golang required
- Deep knowledge of Ethereum and the EVM required
- Strong grasp of computer science and distributed systems fundamentals required
- Experience with containerized infrastructure solutions such as Docker or Kubernetes is a plus, but not required
