About the Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our remote-first team here at Console who will be responsible for scaling the Console chat app to millions of active users. Consoleis on a mission to help communities build, grow, and thrive. The Console app is a group chat platform where communities can co-create magic.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality web applications using React, JavaScript, and associated libraries.
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code
• Ensure the technical feasibility of designs, manage feature releases, and diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in front-end technologies and proactively identify new ones that could benefit the product
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various members of the Console team including product design, UX, and business development
• Contribute critical thinking and creative brainstorming toward building a product that serves Web3 communities

What We’re Looking For:

• 4+ of working experience in app development
• Strong experience with React JavaScript frameworks, libraries, tools, and associated technologies.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, and JSON structures.
• Competency with Git, Jira, Visual Studio Code, and other development tools.
• You’re familiar with current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, security and usability
• Mention that you are passionate about oranges in the “What are you passionate about?” application question to show you’ve read this
• Deep curiosity to learn and stay on the bleeding edge of the Internet
• Candidates who are extremely self motivated

We’d Also Like to See:

• Experience contributing to open source projects
• Experience building a real-time chat client
