Senior Blockchain Engineer

IdentDeFi
$160k - $200k

This job is closed

Job Overview:

IdentDeFi is a new blockchain protocol that aims to build tools inside of tokens. Our team’s thesis is that the token layer of infrastructure has been overlooked and relatively under-explored. Our project originated after winning the ETHDenver 2022 Hackathon for DeFi. Since then, we have participated in DeFi Base Camp, Chainlink, and Binance’s accelerator programs and raised a $3M seed round.

IdentDeFi’s initial focus is on building compliance tools inside of tokens, with the goal of bootstrapping compliant secondary markets across existing DeFi protocols. The core product is designed as an ERC-20 wrapper token. These wrapper tokens are represented by the .safe terminology (USDC.safe, DAI.safe, FRAX.safe, etc.) and are built to ensure that all parties in a transaction are compliant.

About the Role:

We’re focused on building a world class team that is passionate about brainstorming, developing, and shipping products that bring significant value to the DeFi ecosystem.

We’re looking for experienced smart contract developers to join our early founder team. In our current stage, we are focused on solving the immediate needs of compliant liquidity and experimenting with other token logic use cases. If you’re interested in building and working with liquidity infrastructure, cross-chain messaging, and composability solutions & tooling, we’d love to talk to you about this opportunity.

Qualifications:

  • Solid and all-round software engineering experience; strong background in cryptography or distributed systems preferred
  • Strong experience and skills with the EVM stack, in particular smart contract architecture, design and implementations
  • Strong experience in smart contract testing frameworks and methodologies
  • Good knowledge and understanding of typical protocol design patterns for AMMs, credit protocols, and other primitive DeFi applications
  • Good knowledge of smart contract development processes and best practices
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Nice to have: Interest or understanding in Zero Knowledge Proofs

Benefits:

  • 1%-2% equity / token compensation
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • New MacBook Pro
  • Stipend for home office (monitors, desk, etc.)
  • Team trips (hackathons, conferences, etc.)
  • Optional relocation package

This is a remote-first position. Our team has an office in Tampa, FL and we are happy to cover relocation costs if you are interested in coming into office. Please send an email with the subject line: “[YOUR_NAME] Senior Blockchain Engineer” to [email protected] and attach your CV/resume.
