Senior Protocol Engineer - Up to $275K Base + Equity

Amicus has recently partnered with an exciting Blockchain start-up who are building infrastructure for a new class of Bitcoin-native wealth, powered by Hyperliquid.

They are currently searching for an experienced Protocol Engineer to lead the design and development of their protocol, who will work closely with the CTO to reimagine the next generation of lending and debt markets.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the architecture, technical design, and implementation of the company's protocols.
• Lead and mentor a team of protocol engineers, establishing a culture of craftsmanship, security and velocity.
• Collaborate closely with researchers to validate and test designs.
• Collaborate with auditors and security engineers to ensure safety of the protocol.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to established coding standards and best practices.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience working in Solidity in EVM in production environments, specifically contributing to DeFi products.
• 2+ years of experience working with a modern backend languages (Go, Rust, Python, etc) in distributed architectures.
• Based in the USA.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience building margin and/or lending and borrowing protocols.
• Located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
