Affine is a crypto robo-advisor that makes picking and managing complex portfolios and DeFi strategies accessible to everyone with near zero transaction costs and easy fiat onramps. Think Wealthfront meets Coinbase (and a lot more).
Mainstream investors have treated Bitcoin and the rest of crypto as one investment. However, the last year has seen a Cambrian explosion ($1B - $200B) in DeFi as well as the maturation of various protocols which has led to a real need for thoughtful and diversified portfolio construction.
Affine will do all the things that a traditional robo-advisor does (portfolio construction, rebalancing, tax-loss harvesting) and add crypto native optimizations like staking, yield farming, and lending. This is only possible because Layer 2 scaling technology is making fees go to near-zero. Crypto is about to have its Robinhood moment.

About the Role
- You will collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to build performant and robust blockchain-based solutions
- Support front-end developers to build and maintain web apps that call smart contracts
- Design and build a smart contracts architecture, incentives structure, yield pools, and strategies
- Deploy and maintain existing smart contracts
- Work with Project Management and other developers to understand design requirements and provide estimates for development
- Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to increase the team's productivity and efficiency continuously
- Stay current with the latest development best practices and share your findings with the team
About You
- BS degree in Computer Science or relevant field of study
- 2+ year of experience developing blockchain applications (Solidity and Smart Contracts preferred)
- 3+ years of product development experience
- Familiarity with JavaScript, NodeJS, Python, etc.
- Hands-on, professional experience with consuming and building RESTful web-services
- You have a driving passion for DeFi and blockchain technology
