Hike is looking for a creative, resourceful go getter to lead to Head Strategic Communications. This role is both strategic and tactical. You will be responsible for our corporate communication strategy that encompasses all internal and external communications including: media relations, editorial coverage, press releases, articles, management, executive and financial communications.

The Head of Strategic Comms will work cross functionally to support product PR campaigns, storytelling and announcements from ideation through to execution, grow the profile of Hike & RGU with business/consumer audiences while also driving awareness of our growing presence in the global Web3 and Tech ecosystem.

This is a role for someone who wants to bring their strategic storytelling expertise to the fast-growing blockchain industry and be a pioneer in all Web3, Metaverse, NFTs, Play2Earn and Tokens.

Reporting to the CEO, this role will also include collaborating with marketing, product, community, legal and executive teams.

You will 📲

• Create, execute and guide communications strategy for a wide range of launches, announcements, and major communications initiatives to support strategic business objectives
• Select the best channels for executing Comms strategies ie. press releases, social media, blogs, external & internal campaigns and external channels
• Communicate complex technology in clear and concise ways to technical and non-technical audiences
• Driving storytelling and narrative/position development around Hike & RGU
• Manage and cultivate relationships with crypto, tech, consumer life>
• Communicate complex technology, concepts in clear and concise ways to technical and non-technical audiences
• Ensure one stitched story and narrative is out there across all communication channels - online creative, social media & own media (Twitter, Newsletters, Blogs, Instagram, Linkedin, Glassdoor, Medium, Website)
• Ensure effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and partnership with external agencies and partners
• Work closely with our recruiting team to ensure effective implementation of employer brand/people marketing initiatives

Bonus:

• Great knowledge of CT
• Previously working in Web3/Blockchain
• Keen interest and knowledge of NFTs, crypto & blockchain, including latest trends and coverage
• Expert on Discord and Twitter
