About the role:
The software development division of IMS partners with the CEO's and product owners of our portfolio companies to develop game changing deep tech software products, typically applying blockchain/NFT solutions to real world commercial assets. We are now looking for a talented and motivated Project Manager to drive assigned projects from kick off to to delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Disciplined, organised and a pro-active communicator you will be responsible for preparing project documentation including detailed Gantt charts to manage project resources and timelines.
- With an attention to detail you will follow up with all stakeholders to drive projects through the lifecycle of software development using waterfall methodologies for 1.0 and agile for follow up releases.
- Communicate with the leadership team to ensure on-time updates and reporting of any deviations with practical recommendations.
- Organise and lead meetings to report progress and resolve any project related issues with the client.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree holder in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields;
- Minimum 3 years project management experience (ideally through full software development life cycle);
- Demonstrate a passion for solving problems with deep tech (blockchain / NFT solutions)
- Collaborative and team player who prides themselves in delivering projects on time and on budget.
- Strong communication in English (stakeholder communications) and Cantonese (or Mandarin) to work with the development team in Guangzhou.
