Join our growing People Operations team! In this role, you are responsible for managing People Operations in a fast-paced growth stage start up.
Responsibilities
- Manage and continuously improve on existing People Operations programs such as benefits renewal, open enrollment, adoption and implementation of new programs, wellness, referral bonuses, travel, meal plans, and more.
- Manage full employee lifecycle, including onboarding to off-boarding experience, sending offer letters, conducting background checks, processing I-9 Forms for employment verification, payroll coordination, and separation processes
- Provide employee guidance for benefit and payroll questions, open enrollment support, escalating issues to brokers as necessary
- Facilitate & provide administrative support for performance management initiatives such as quarterly employee engagement surveys, pulse surveys, performance reviews, and promotion processes
- Create, curate, and implement HR / People Ops systems, tools, programs, policies and initiatives where needed
- Ensure we are in compliance and assist with curating information on regulatory and compliance reporting, compliance and legal audits
- Maintain and update employee handbook, HR forms and templates, HR communications and dissemination of HR information on different platforms
- Manage equipment and WFH benefits across a global remote workforce (ie. place equipment orders if needed)
- Manage several major company events (ie. birthday celebrations, anniversary program, and company-wide team offsite events)
- Partner with current People Ops Team on projects and recruiting to ensure a seamless new hire and onboarding experience
- Facilitate any initiatives around trainings and learning & development opportunities for employees
Qualifications
- You should be thoughtful, resourceful, and strategic
- A passion for driving employee initiatives and delivering exceptional employee experiences
- 2+ years experience in HR / People Operations for a technology company
- Excellent communication: written, oral, in-person and on the phone
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
- Excited to work in a growth-stage company, having a track record of being adaptable to changing priorities in a fluid and high growth environment
- Organized with strong attention to detail approach, effectively exercising independent judgment and communication
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a successful record of implementing processes that scale and evolve
- Team player with a sense of ownership and “get things done” attitude and ability to work well with other team members on projects
- Model and reinforce our values of being a good human and respectful to all
- Maintain a strong sense of confidentiality around sensitive information; you know what, when, and whom you can say things to
- Interest in the crypto, web3, and knowledge of Phantom is a plus
- Proficiency in Mac, Google, and Notion applications
- Experience working with technical HRIS systems and software and implementation experience, specifically Gusto and Lattice is a plus
- Experience with setting up global contractors and full-time employees in Deel is a plus
