Champions Ascension and Plai Labs are looking to bring on a QA Web Tester to join our game studio in Bogota! Today, we are creating games on the blockchain to allow for true, digital ownership; including Champions Ascension, our multiplayer game along with a suite of web 3 products to compliment this new social and gaming arena. The team is stacked with serial entrepreneurs, who’ve launched/built/sold multiple billion dollar companies. We are a solid, hard working, driven team of technologists. Plai Labs is an A16z portfolio company, based in Los Angeles + Bogota, with a distributed global team.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback sessions.
- Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Communicate with the development team to help find a solution to the reported issues.
Qualifications
- 3+ Years of expertise in software quality assurance.
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Ability to work iteratively.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Written and oral English proficiency.
Nice To Have
- A good sense of humor is a definite plus.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
- Hands-on experience testing Video Games.
- Experience deciphering all the Jira mysteries.
