Our top client, a highly profitable and sophisticated cryptocurrency hedge fund, is seeking a Quantitative Crypto Analyst to join the Trading Team.
In this role, you will architect and execute a framework that integrates quantitative and qualitative data for comprehensive token analysisâultimately building dashboards, metrics, and a system that identifies opportunities in the crypto markets. This system will help inform decision-makers and identify actionable opportunities in the market.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Crypto Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience working with on-chain data in a quantitative research or similar capacity.
- Follows industry developments, stays updated on key protocols and market trends, and maintains a genuine enthusiasm for exploring emerging blockchain technologies.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong programming skills (Python, SQL) for building and deploying models.
Familiarity with modern data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Snowflake) preferred.
Quantitative Background:
Proven knowledge and experience with time series analysis, sentiment analysis, optimization techniques, and/or machine learning.
Hands-on experience translating quantitative research into actionable investment or trading signals.
Communication Skills:
Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Education: Advanced degree in Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Crypto-Specific Knowledge: Experience with crypto data vendors, APIs, and fundamental blockchain analytics.
- Understanding of tokenomics and blockchain protocol fundamentals.
