About Crush Rewards

Crush is a DePIN-inspired consumer rewards platform that turns everyday shopping data into liquid, tradeable CRUSH tokens. People earn rewards from the shopping data they already generate, keep them forever (non-expiring), and can use them flexibly: swap for USDC, lock for boosts, or use them anywhere crypto flows (think Hivemapper, but for consumer spending data)

We solve three massive frustrations at once:

  • Expiring points (47% of consumers hate this most)

  • High friction / low value (rugged points, slow payouts, tiny rewards)

  • Data black box (brands pay billions for granular CPG data; users get gift cards and zero transparency)

Our Data-to-Earn model works through:

  • Passive → Link cards for automated transaction data

  • Active → Snap receipts or store-shelf images for pricing/promo intelligence

  • Other → Surveys, referrals, linking apps (Uber, DoorDash, etc.)

Our tokenomics tie CRUSH to real demand: when brands buy insights, the protocol buys CRUSH and burns most of it, while a portion is redistributed to the users whose data was used.

The iOS app is live (App Store, but still in beta on devnet) and users can already link cards, upload receipts and claim weekly tokens. We are now in the critical “first real users” phase: turning early downloads into active, high-quality data contributors who evangelize the product.

That’s where you come in.

The Role

You will own content creation, community building, and organic user acquisition for a brand-new mobile app in the intersection of fintech, crypto, and consumer data. This is not a pure social-media manager role. It is a growth-oriented position where your output directly moves the needle on downloads, activations (card links + receipt uploads), and retention.

You will be one of the most visible faces of Crush in the early days. Your work will shape how people first hear about us, why they trust us, and why they keep coming back (and bringing friends).

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation (40–50% of time)

  • Write and publish high-quality, educational, and engaging content across X, blog (on crushrewards.app), LinkedIn, and emerging platforms (TikTok/Instagram Reels for receipt-snapping demos, YouTube for deep dives).

  • Core content pillars:

    • Problem-aware → “Why your loyalty points are quietly stealing from you”

    • Solution-aware → “How Crush turns receipts into real crypto you actually own”

    • Product-led → Step-by-step guides, “I linked 4 cards and earned $X this week” case studies, tokenomics explainers (make the burn-and-mint model simple and exciting)

    • Community & user-generated → Repurpose user stories, run “Receipt of the Week” contests, feature top earners

  • Produce threads, carousels, short videos, blog posts, email sequences, and in-app messaging.

  • Optimize for SEO on the blog (target keywords like “non-expiring rewards,” “crypto cashback,” “own your shopping data”).

2. Community Building & Engagement (30–40% of time)

  • Own and grow our presence on X (@CrushRewards – currently small but high-intent audience) and build new channels (Discord/Telegram) from zero.

  • Daily engagement: reply to every mention, DM, and comment with personality and speed.

  • Create rituals: weekly AMAs, reward drops for top contributors, referral leaderboards, “Data Drop” updates showing how user data is creating real enterprise value.

  • Moderate, nurture, and protect the community (handle FUD gracefully, turn skeptics into believers, spot and reward power users early).

  • Build a referral engine that feels native (not spammy) — users who bring in high-quality data contributors should earn meaningful boosts.

  • Engage on Reddit (personal finance, cashback, receipts, and crypto-curious communities): contribute value-first posts and comments, answer questions, and build credibility without spam.

3. Growth & User Acquisition (20–30% of time)

  • Design and run organic acquisition campaigns focused on the first 5k–10k high-quality mobile users.

  • Tactics you will own or heavily influence:

    • Influencer & micro-influencer outreach (fintech, crypto, personal finance, receipt-hacker creators)

    • Cross-promotions with complementary apps/wallets

    • Content-led funnels (blog → email → app download)

    • On-platform growth (in-app prompts, push notifications, referral flows)

    • Analytics & iteration: track download sources, activation rate, data contribution quality, and LTV signals

  • Work closely with the founder and engineering team to test new onboarding experiments, referral mechanics, and boost structures.

What Success Looks Like (first 6 months)

  • X following 3–5x growth with strong engagement (not just vanity metrics)

  • Consistent weekly content calendar that drives measurable app downloads and activations

  • A healthy, positive community with organic word-of-mouth (users posting their own “I earned X this week” screenshots)

  • Clear attribution: you can point to specific campaigns/threads that brought in hundreds of new active users

  • User feedback loops that directly inform product (you will be the closest person to the community)

Requirements

Must-have

  • 2+ years in content/community/growth roles (web3, fintech, consumer apps, or rewards/loyalty strongly preferred)

  • Excellent writing voice — clear, persuasive, slightly irreverent, never corporate

  • Proven ability to drive measurable user growth through organic channels

  • Comfort with crypto concepts (wallets, tokens, on-chain mechanics) and the ability to explain them to non-crypto users

  • Data-driven: you love looking at analytics and iterating

  • Self-starter who thrives in a very early-stage environment (we move fast, ship daily, and wear many hats)

  • Savvy with AI agents and modern AI tooling, and able to leverage them to speed up content creation (while keeping a strong human voice and quality bar)

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Canva, CapCut, or simple video editing

  • Experience with modern SEO and AEO tools

  • Existing network in crypto, personal finance, or creator economy

What We Offer

  • Competitive base + meaningful token equity (this role will be one of the highest-impact early hires)

  • Fully remote, async-friendly (core overlap hours with Europe/US)

  • Direct line to the founder — your ideas shape the product

  • The chance to help build a new consumer data paradigm that actually rewards people fairly
