Job Description
We are looking for a passionate, experienced frontend engineer who can help convert our high-fidelity wireframes into a fully functioning dapp-integrated Web3 website. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation and testing of the frontend (and backend necessary to accomplish our scaling goals).

Responsibilities
  • Lead the frontend code developments and roll-out a fully functioning website
  • Ensure the interface is composed of elegant and mobile-friendly components
  • Understand scalability issues and how to make these trade-offs as the product and user-activity grows

Requirements
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • At least 3 years of React experience
  • Be comfortable with the modern frontend stack in web3 (ethers.js/web3.js, EIP-1193, client-side private key management, etc.)
  • A thorough understanding of modern client-side React applications and their architectures.
  • Prior experience working with component libraries or design teams in user-facing applications
  • Know about the latest React design components to make the Panoptic interface feel modern and professional
  • Be well versed in thorough code testing principles using eslint, cross-browser testing, acceptance testing, and you can help perform general QA testing, etc.
  • Be familiar with Git, Deployment Pipelines, and general best practices in web development
  • Write extensive comments, documentation, design flow diagrams, and review PRs
  • Collaborate with the Smart Contract engineering team

Nice to have
  • Prior experience creating a design system or component library
  • Familiarity with Desmos, d3.js, recharts or other fast graphical visualization javascript frameworks
  • Design and UI/UX related experience
  • Degree in computer science
  • Willingness to understand why options are awesome

Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package
  • Early team equity
  • Remote and flexible working hours
  • Paid time off

What does a back-end developer in Web3 do?

A back-end developer in web3 typically works on the server-side of a web application, using technologies that are specific to the decentralized web (also known as Web3-related)

This might involve building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports decentralized applications (dApps), or developing the underlying smart contracts and blockchain-based systems that power those dApps

In general, the goal of a back-end developer in web3 is to create the technologies and tools that enable users to interact with the decentralized web in a secure and seamless way.
