Bitcoin Depot is seeking a Quality Assurance Field Technician in the Manhattan, New York area who will be responsible for visiting existing BTM locations for routine inspections, installations, and repairs to ensure BTMs are online and available to transact.  Please note this role in not currently live. We currently trade on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol BTM.  Responsibilities

Travel outside of home market up to 75% (cumulative) to inspect, service, install and repair BTMs  Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.  Plan, perform, and oversee routine inspections and testing of products to ensure standards are met for our BTMs. Commissioning and preparation of BTMs for installation. Physical installation of BTMs at approved and qualified sites. Installation of related signage and marketing materials at site. Ongoing maintenance of BTMs including servicing, preventative maintenance, and replenishment of BTM supplies in accordance with established company guidelines. Training customers and third party vendors telephonically and in-person.  Conducting and collecting accurate merchant and internal information at sites as needed. Creating training materials and operating manuals. Documenting quality assurance activities and creating operational and technical reports on an ongoing basis. Responsible for reporting all problem resolutions to the Tech Support Manager. Assist other team members and perform other duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications/Experience

MUST reside in the Manhattan area Three years of experience within the ATM or BTM industry is required. Must possess interpersonal skills that will establish credibility with internal and external customers. Follow procedures and have a structured approach to problem-solving. Intermediate level or higher knowledge and understanding of using Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high priority tasks and shift priorities in a fast paced environment. Strong, professional communications skills both orally and written.

Physical Requirements 

This role requires bending, carrying, climbing, driving, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, sitting, standing and walking. You must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and utilize a dolly to move BTM machines and other equipment..
