Job: Principal Blockchain Engineer
Location: Boston, MA , Jersey City, NJ or Merrimack, NH – 2 weeks Onsite per Month

- This team does Backend only work
- AWS cloud – for application development
- Cloud native form of development
- This person needs to be Senior/ Principal level with enterprise Java / Spring/ Spring boot/ REST APIs.
- Hands on experience working on more or more blockchains
- Bitcoin, ETH, understand Cryptography
Candidate Profile:
- Enterprise Java
- REST API
- Spring / Spring Boot
- Cloud Native – in terms of working on AWS – SQS Postgres, Dynamo DB,
- Blockchain – integrating or working with public block chain
- ETH, Bitcoin, wallet experience
- Self-Motivated – self-starter, problem solving with minimal oversight – investigate, troubleshoot, dig
- Work in a team setting- collaborate, work with the team
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Batchelor's degree in computer science or related field required
- 8+ years' experience in software development using object-oriented programming languages like Java
- Experience with blockchains such as Ethereum, Bitcoin
- Experience building resilient services in Java
- Proficient in databases and SQL
- An understanding of microservice architecture and twelve factor app patterns
- Ability to build reliable software that can withstand unreliable environments
- Unit and integration test automation using JUnit
- Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins Core
- Possess critical thinking skills to build end-to-end solutions
- Passionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks
