The Job
As a Junior DevSecOps Engineer, you are ready to learn from senior DevSecOps engineers how to effectively integrate security into modern CI/CD pipelines that focus on security. You enjoy DevOps and have at least 1 year of experience implementing automation via DevOps principles, practices and tools with security in mind. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Senior DevSecOps engineers in a collaborative mission to identify, configure, integrate and monitor cutting-edge security technologies, procedures and practices into the pipelines that deploy Atato’s web3 products. You are excited to work in a team with engineers who have more experience and are willing to guide you. You are enthusiastic and able to take the initiative in your tasks to test new tools, configure and maintain logging systems, review and audit implementations and other tasks designated to you for different phases of the CI/CD pipeline.
Your responsibilities
Enthusiastically and efficiently perform designated DevSecOps tasks in a friendly and supportive team environment
Configure, test, record and report on tools and technologies for CI/CD pipeline
Configure, maintain and monitor logging and visibility in Cloud Logging (GCP) and Prometheus (K8s)
Staging and production infrastructure deployment and monitoring in GCP
Improve your own knowledge and understanding of DevSecOps on a weekly basis
Our requirements
1+ years of experience in DevOps with an interest in security
1+ years of experience in scripting (any language)
Strong familiarity with at least one declarative or imperative Infrastructure as Code language
Hands-on experience working with any cloud provider, e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure etc
Hands-on experience with container virtualisation e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, etc
Hands-on experience with SDLC
Humble but confident attitude, willing to ask questions and make mistakes without being blamed
Nice to have
An understanding of blockchain technology and the Ethereum ecosystem
Familiarity with web3 technologies
