About ABC Labs:

We believe access to stable money is a human right. Almost two billion people around the world don't have a safe place to store their money or are excluded from financial services such as payments and credit. Struggles with inflationary currencies prevent families and communities from building basic economic security. To help solve this, we created the Reserve Protocol, a free, permissionless platform on the Ethereum mainnet and Base L2 to build, deploy and govern asset-backed currencies referred to as "RTokens." RTokens are always 1:1 asset-backed, allowing for permissionless minting and redeeming on-chain by users without the need for any middlemen. RTokens are over-collateralized and by default governed independently by RSR stakers in a fully decentralized manner.

We are actively expanding to new verticals and regions, and would love to explore if you could be a fit for our team! More information on our mission and the people behind it can be found here.

Role summary:

We are seeking a skilled DeFi community manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will cultivate hands-on Rtoken deploying, minting, staking, governing and LP opportunities. Create, promote and measure ROI for offchain (Zealy) and onchain (Layer3) quests.

The ideal candidate should possess intermediate knowledge of DeFi and a strong understanding of Discord strategies for bottom-of-funnel community retention.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing and communications with examples of how you have impacted other projects.
  • Discord administration.
  • Bot and security management.
  • Governance facilitation and activation.
  • Able to articulate how RTokens work, and contrast them to other types of stablecoins.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to clearly explain complex problems and enroll the team in solutions.
  • You have a schedule that can accommodate being online for the PST time zone US workday - we are flexible on location.

Nice to have:

  • You are an active DeFi user using at least two or more of the following primitives: dex, lending, leverage, minting, auto-compounders, bridging.
  • At least 2 years participating in Discord administration and bots management, security, community engagement, growth and governance support.
  • You have experience with questing platforms and quest program design.
  • You read protocol docs for fun and have a passion for explaining stablecoin mechanisms for peg, collateral, safety, governance and economics.
  • You have an advanced understanding of how to navigate Etherscan and other block explorers.

Benefits:

  • Do something meaningful; Be a part of the future of stable money, helping people around the world access a safe and transparent financial system.
  • Fast moving, challenging and unique business problems.
  • Compensation: Competitive salary + token grant.
  • Stability: We have significant funding and a long financial runway.
  • Purpose: ABC Labs helps people beat hyperinflation, and aims to eradicate it entirely.
