Role Description

The Community Manager is responsible for the end-to-end experience of a community member.


By joining Perion as the Community Manager, you will be vital in growing and engaging the Perion Discord Community and the Perion Twitter Community. Within the Discord community, you will also be responsible for activating our token holders to take part in the DAO votes and proposals.


You will be working closely with the Marketing Manager to achieve the company's growth objectives. This role is crucial in turning curious Web3 individuals into permanent engaged holders. You will also be managing and have the ability to grow a community team of moderators to help achieve your goals.


The community team is responsible for creating a full end-to-end experience for a new member of the DAO (PERC holders) from the onboarding phase to the activation of those holders to participate in DAO activities. 


You will also be responsible for supporting members by developing support systems, whilst liaising with team members to create accurate answers for our members.


The Community Manager will be responsible for the maintenance of our community platform (Discord) and will also handle the onboarding of new Discord members and activation of those users to explore the DAO.



Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and execution of a community strategy. 
  • Develop and execute community growth and engagement strategies, in collaboration with the marketing and product team.
  • Lead and manage a team of community moderators, including resource allocation, scheduling, supervising performance, and providing continual feedback.
  • Lead the implementation of a better user experience within our current community platform (Discord).
  • Identify actionable community insights and raise market opportunities for other team members.
  • Oversee the setup of Discord channels, permissions, bots, and security measures.
  • Monitor, analyse, and provide reports on community & and campaigns’ performance, suggesting initiatives for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to drive community growth and engagement.
  • Plan and execute community events, both in person and online.
  • Lead a partnerships and collaboration plan that aims to partner with other communities in the Web3 gaming space.
  • Lead the creation of consistent community events and activities that engage the community and DAO members.
  • You will also be responsible for understanding best practices and understanding emerging trends within the field, and planning ways to implement them to accelerate the growth of the PerionDAO community.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in Web3 community building
  • Experience building Discords and managing Discords
  • Experience in leading a team of moderators
  • Crypto native - you must live and breathe community and Web3
  • Strong understanding of community platforms, engagement strategies, and analytics.
  • Good interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Strong English, written and verbal communication
  • History of growing and scaling a community
  • Good understanding of blockchain and Web3
  • Independent problem-solver mindset
