We are in search of an experienced Senior Social Media Manager to strategize and execute a comprehensive social media presence across multiple channels. The ideal candidate in this role will work hand in hand with the full marketing and design team, as well as product and engineering teams, to launch innovative social campaigns, scale our reach across platforms, and expand our audience globally. The role involves everything from creating original written content, planning daily, weekly and monthly social campaigns, and optimizing our content for various social channels and communities. They will be a seasoned social media expert, well-versed in the latest trends and analytics platforms within the Web3 landscape, and a proactive, independent thinker. WHAT YOU WILL DO

Manage key social media channels for Avalanche, including X, LinkedIn, Reddit and more  Drive the day-to-day publishing and management of the main Avalanche and AvaxDevelopers X accounts—this is an important role because it manages the brand's outward facing persona and has to maintain these accounts to be professional, comprehensive and up-to-date They will be a key contributor to how marketing efforts make their way on to social channels, where a large portion of our campaigns live Create brief, engaging content and copy across major social channels Develop strategies and messaging for ongoing platform and product marketing campaigns Work with the Creative team to create on-brand, visually appealing graphics and videos that complement social messaging

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience 4+ years experience in social media marketing, with crypto marketing experience preferred Proven track record with managing social media pages for high-growth brands Experience in social media marketing, channel management, content creation, copywriting and community engagement Must be familiar with crypto twitter and have experience creating twitter posts around specific crypto topics Technical background that understands general technical concepts  Manage and run multiple social campaigns within broader co-marketing efforts Experience using Web3 applications Strong copywriting background Experience as an active contributor to social communities Advanced knowledge of social media publishing tools, project management tools, major social channels (e.g. Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube), social analytics Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Creative thinker with the ability to bring personality and energy to social communities

Salary Range: $102,800 to $128,400 (**This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.)
