What you’ll do We're looking for a Developer API Evangelist to champion our trading API and support the growing developer community building on top of it. You’ll serve as a technical liaison between external developers, internal engineering, and product teams—driving adoption, gathering actionable feedback, and amplifying the platform’s value. This is a hybrid role combining technical depth, community engagement, and product advocacy. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically fluent, and passionate about developer experience.

Provide first-line technical support to developers integrating with our RESTful trading API

Actively engage in developer forums, Reddit/Discord communities, and relevant communities to promote the API, answer questions, and gather feedback

Triage developer issues, integration challenges, and bug reports—escalating appropriately to Product and EngineeringCollaborate with Product and Engineering to shape and prioritize the API roadmap based on developer needs

Create and maintain technical content including tutorials, reference implementations, and API documentation

Represent the company at developer events, webinars, and hackathons

Continuously monitor and improve developer onboarding flows and integration experiences, identifying friction points and opportunities for improvement

What we’re looking for

5+ years of professional experience in technical support, developer advocacy, or API integration roles—ideally in a startup or high-growth environment Strong proficiency with RESTful APIs and JSON Programming experience in Python or TypeScript (both preferred) Familiarity with authentication mechanisms (e.g., OAuth2, API keys), error handling patterns, and asynchronous API concepts (e.g., WebSockets, eventual consistency) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to varied audiences A developer-first mindset with empathy for external users and a focus on usability and quality documentation Ability to context-switch effectively and manage multiple threads of work across community, support, and product teams Flexibility and capacity to switch contexts as business needs evolve
