Target outcomes
- Build a best-in-class finance organization, including FP&A, reporting, compensation, and controls.
- Implement robust forecasting and reconciliation systems across fiat and crypto assets.
- Shape the finance function's scope in collaboration with leadership and corporate development.
- Partner on strategic initiatives such as token buybacks, hedging, deal structuring, and M&A.
- Develop a hiring plan and recruit strong finance operators as the team scales.
Responsibilities
- Own all corporate finance functions including forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Design and implement financial infrastructure to support tokenized products and crypto-native operations.
- Establish systems for managing complex employee compensation across tokens, RTUs, and equity.
- Support corporate decision-making on capital allocation, tokenomics, and strategic investments.
- Navigate the evolving line between corporate finance and corporate development.
- Lead or support high-leverage strategic projects such as token buybacks, treasury strategies, or acquisitions.
- Hire and manage key finance roles across FP&A, accounting, and financial operations.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, audit preparedness, and operational excellence as the company scales.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in finance leadership roles, ideally in high-growth, venture-backed or crypto-native companies.
- Deep experience managing both fiat and crypto financial infrastructure; strong familiarity with on-chain assets.
- Proven ability to build finance functions from scratch — both operational and strategic in scope.
- Strong commercial instincts; experience supporting exec-level decision making and board-level reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Nice to haves
- Experience at a tokenized asset platform, DeFi protocol, or crypto fund.
- Background in investment banking, corporate development, or strategic finance roles.
- Familiarity with GAAP accounting, tax planning, and international corporate structuring.
