Job Description

As Financial Controller you will be the cornerstone of our financial operations and strategy. You will oversee all financial aspects of the company, including financial planning, risk management, and financial reporting. This role is not just about crunching numbers; it's about building a robust financial function and team that will support the company's rapid growth and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's business goals. This includes long-term financial planning, investment strategies, and financial risk management
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Manage the company's cash flow to ensure it has the necessary funds for operations, development, and expansion. This may include managing relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve profitability. This includes monitoring operational costs and implementing financial controls to prevent over-expenditure.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws.
• Develop and maintain internal financial controls to safeguard the company’s assets. 
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team and treasury function
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions
• Assist with group structures and strategy
• Evaluate and manage financial risks
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and new business opportunities
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the Audit Committee of the board of directors
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports to the board and senior management team
• Drive the company’s financial planning and performance measures, including key performance indicators (KPIs)

Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
• 5 years of professional experience in a senior financial managerial position
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and risk management
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and data analysis tools
