The Payments Product Marketing team’s mission is to discover, develop, and deliver crypto solutions for money movement. We’re looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Market Insights Lead to influence product and launch decisions via market and customer insights in international markets
The ideal candidate will have extensive market research and insights experience for an established brand or disruptive technology, ideally in Payments, Financial Services or Blockchain/Cryptocurrency.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Develop sophisticated research plans to understand market trends, customer needs and behaviors, and specific opportunities to drive product investment decisions, product positioning and messaging, and market launches.
- Launch quantitative and qualitative research projects across international markets to generate deep market insights in the regions Ripple operates in globally.
- Enable understanding of the key trends in the broader crypto/blockchain, digital asset, and FinTech ecosystem across Ripple’s cross-functional teams and global hubs.
- Support the scaling of Ripple’s programs to capture and prioritize the voice-of-customers and prospects.
- Effectively present and communicate insights and recommendations to executives, product and business leaders.
- Drive high quality decisions with cross-functional partners and leadership teams based on market insights.
- Provide thought leadership on current market trends and developments to customers and external partners to build an ecosystem of collaborators that supports Ripple’s long term vision to build the Internet of Value.
- Manage a portfolio of 5-10 research vendors, ensuring high return on investment of research spend.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Integrated Marketing, Design, UX Research, Product Management, and Strategic Initiatives to build insights and recommendations
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 10+ years of experience in market research and insights, with experience collaborating with stakeholders in multiple teams and offices.
- Established global network of research providers
- Demonstrated experience of presenting to leadership and influencing product decisions
- Experience in a fast paced start-up environment is a big plus.
- A strong interest, curiosity and experience in digital assets / crypto markets.
- Comfort with ambiguity and uncertainty, with demonstrated experience in aligning cross-functional team members around research objectives to meet product and business goals.
