Alternative Payment Method (APM) Manager
The APM manager partners with the Country Head, Product Management team and stakeholders to
translate product strategy into a detailed, prioritized backlog deliverables.
The APM manager collaborates with an agile delivery team to implement, measure, and learn from the
improvements they have made.
The APM manager manages execution of the value stream product features and delivery roadmap that
are aligned to KPI’s that measure the objectives of both internal and external stakeholders.
APM manager will focus on APM implementation quality during design, analytics and testing.

Job description:
Supports business strategy by forming a backlog of features for the delivery team.
Research and analyse fintech industry need and create a roadmap for the products aimed at
providing solutions.
Support API clients to achieve successful onboarding to the API products.
Support the sales team during engagement with prospective clients to enable them to propose
the right solution to the partners.
Ensure NDA and commercial agreement is signed with partners before integration.
Articulate requirements for each integration with detailed user flow and acceptance criteria.
Effectively use data and insights from multiple sources that benefits the organization in taking
decisions on product management.
Constantly pursue incremental delivery by looking for ways to meet business goals through
frequent, measurable product enhancements.
Work collaboratively with the delivery team to support backlog refinement, sprint planning,
and release planning.
Monitor and improve product health and performance by analysing transactions, user feedbacks
and other product metrics.
Prioritize and resolve issues and defects through collaboration within the delivery team and
other stakeholders.
Effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders such as banks and processors.
Follow competitors and the industry.

Requirements:

    • 2+ years’ current experience working within a complex software development environment
    • 1+ years’ experience working on a Scrum and/or Agile team
    • 2+ years’ experience with creating documentation for communication with varied audiences
    • 2+ years’ experience working on complex development projects
    • fair understanding of business requirements elicitation pursuant to specific programs/projects involved
    • Proficient in requirements gathering, business modelling, project scoping, and use case creation
    • Ability to utilize standard documentation tools/utilities.

Required Skills:

    • Fair understanding of Soap and Rest API Design, OpenAPI / Swagger, JSON and XMLstructures
    • Deadline oriented and capable of self-management.
    • Strong work ethic demonstrated attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Ability to listen to and understand business needs.
    • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Creative thinker
    • Experience working on a Scrum and/or Agile team.
    • Fair understanding of Azure boards, confluence or JIRA for user story documentation
    • Familiarity with tools such as postman, SoapUI or swagger.
    • Ability to review and interpret restful APIs
    • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
    • Good understanding of product management life cycle
    • Good understanding of how payment integration works.
    • Good understanding of software development life cycle.
    • Good understanding of requirement elicitation and analysis technically.
