About New Order

About The Role

We are looking for a Founder in Residence to research and manage new venture opportunities with the goal of launching your own Web3 project in 3-6 months with New Order. You will be a vital leader and builder, gaining key insights and experience by project managing incubated projects with founding teams while researching & assessing incubation opportunities for your own endeavor.

Working closely with the New Order incubation team and community, you will leverage New Order’s industry leading network of researchers, developers, venture managers, and subject matter experts (Financial Engineering, Token Engineering, Governance, Legal Compliance, Fundraising, Growth) to prepare you and your future project for success.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Ultimately, your main goal will be to build, lead and grow an incubated project as a founder.
• Develop a progressive thesis on what will drive the next crypto super cycle and zero-in on the key areas and solutions that will generate exponential value by producing project briefs.
• Generate research and analysis that will provide due diligence on venture opportunities for the incubation committee, including Web3 tech, product-market fit, go-to-market strategies, token models, and more.
• Manage and drive incubation workstreams with founding teams, as it relates to the technical and business development of each project. This includes key activities such as financial engineering, token modeling, legal compliance, capital raising, partnerships, branding, community building, launch marketing, recruiting and more.
• Collaborate and team-build with CTO-in-Residences, developers and the incubation team to assess new project opportunities for you to lead with New Order and other co-founders.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Strong work experience within Web3 preferably as a builder, operator or growth expert and/or previous startup experience as a founder or early-stage employee.
• A passion for Web3, decentralization and motivated to make a big impact.
• Excellent analytical skills as it applies to identifying and evaluating opportunities with speed and thoughtfulness.
• Strategic thinker who can synthesize new information, domains and technologies quickly and develop growth strategies accordingly.
• Can-do entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative mindset.
• Superior communication skills for business development, community building and recruiting.
• Ability to manage teams and operations with a ruthless commitment to delivery and execution.
• Problem solve and hustle when barriers and obstacles arise.
