WHAT IS EIGEN LABS

EigenLabs provides cryptoeconomic security as a service for blockchain projects. Our platform provides programmatic access to the trust layer of Ethereum to make components reusable, allowing builders to rely on Ethereum for security while saving time and resources typically allocated to bootstrapping their own token. EigenLabs technologies also create technical value & efficiency for Validators in Ethereum’s proof-of-stake network by enabling them to "re-stake" their assets. Re-staking allows validators to secure multiple protocols and boost rewards by providing security services to oracle networks, data availability networks and dApps running on rollups or side-chains. We’re on a mission to hyperscale ETH & dApps and increase decentralization through re-staking!

THE ROLE

We are looking for a creative Product UX Designer who is eager to design. As our first hire for this team, you will be a pivotal contributor to ensuring EigenLabs products are intuitive, elegant and usable experiences. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with engineering, researchers, and business teams.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Own the end-to-end design journey from ideation to prototyping, interaction and visual design, and user testing, through engineering implementation.

• Gather user requirements and gain a deep grasp of product specifications

• Conduct research and testing to understand user needs

• Design creative concepts, wireframes, mockups and prototypes

• Create original visual designs and intuitive interaction designs

• Communicate product designs and prototypes to stakeholders using storyboards, process flows, journey roadmaps, and demos.

• Define and implement interaction flow adjustments based on user feedback, usability testing, and analytics.

• Hire and manage outside consultants and agencies as needed to deliver world-class results

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• BSc in Design, HCI, Computer Science or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of experience in UX design role for highly-technical web2 or web3 products

• Experience working with web3 product and in startups highly preferred

• Portfolio that showcases a mastery of end to end UX design cycle

• Strong research, information architecture and project management skills

• Mastery of research tools (e.g. Maze), design software (e.g. Figma.) and engineering tools (e.g. Github)

• Know how to find the right balance between perfection and shipping quickly

• Passion for blockchain technologies

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $180,000 - $210,000 is the annual base salary.
