About The Position

The IT Specialist is responsible for day-to-day management of the IT environment, including the coordination and oversight of projects relating to system configuration, equipment, and infrastructure. They are responsible for communicating to Salt's users efficiently and effectively regarding IT infrastructure and systems.

What you'll be doing:

• Perform system and application installation, configuration, and upgrading
• Manage new hire onboarding, orientation, and hardware provisioning
• Manage system inventory, and shipment of systems to/from employees
• Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and SaaS solution problems
• Provide remote technical support for staff via support tickets, IM, email, and phone
• Work with other members of the organization to ensure timely resolution of employee issues
• Provide Windows / MacOS support
  
  

What we are looking for:

• Strong drive for problem-solving, researching solutions, and documenting processes
• Exceptional people, communication, and time management skills
• Experience supporting MacOS and Windows systems, Linux a plus
• LAN / WLAN configuration at an end system level
• Active Directory proficiency
• 1+ years of relevant work experience or education
• Technical certifications preferred (CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, etc.)
• Basic understanding of blockchain/cryptocurrency
