About Crossmint

Location

We have an office in Madrid (Gran Vía), and we’re also open to considering full remote from anywhere in Spain 🇪🇸

Type of employment

Full-Time under our Spanish entity, compliant with local laws and taxation.

Seniority

Senior (5+ years). A PhD title recognized by Spanish authorities is mandatory.

Responsibilities

As an Engineer at Crossmint, your responsibilities will include:
Write high quality code: correct, secure, performant, maintainable.
Write architectural and design docs: individually and with the team.
Run your projects end to end: from conceptualization, to shipping and beyond.
Perform On-Call duties: participate in paid on-call shifts (once or twice a quarter).
Mentor new team members.

About you

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent written and spoken English.
Educational Background: Hold a STEM PhD degree recognized by Spanish authorities.
Professional Experience: Accumulate 5+ years of professional experience.
Programming Expertise: Showcase advanced knowledge in at least one modern programming language such as Javascript, Java, Python, Scala, Ruby, etc.

A full stack web3 developer is a developer who has expertise in the full stack of technologies that are used to build web3 applications

These applications use the decentralized, distributed nature of the web3 network to provide users with a secure and decentralized way of accessing and interacting with online services and applications. The responsibilities of a full stack web3 developer will vary depending on the specific project and the needs of the team they are working with

In general, though, a full stack web3 developer will be responsible for: designing and building the front-end and back-end of web3 applications, as well as implementing and maintaining the underlying blockchain infrastructure
