A newly incubated venture, "Fortune" is on a mission to revolutionize global money movement by pioneering a next-generation payment service that breaks through the traditional barriers in the financial ecosystem. Our approach merges the existing payments infrastructure with digital assets by creating a a global network of regulatorily approved digital asset liquidity providers.

Our venture is all about making international payments faster, cheaper, and more reliable.We're looking for a Full Stack Engineerwho is comfortable getting their hands dirty in building a solution that uses engineering to solve problems while also building scale.
NOTE: This is a 6-month contract role, with a possibility of extension or conversion to a Full-Time Employee.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack web application using React, GraphQL, PrismaDB, RedwoodJS and AWS.
- Implement robust, scalable GraphQL APIs using RedwoodJS and PrismaDB.
- Integrate front-end and back-end components to deliver a seamless user experience.
- Manage application state using Temporal workflows and ensure efficient background task execution.
- Optimize application performance for speed and scalability on AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices.
Attributes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Front-End Development:
- Strong proficiency in React with experience in building dynamic user interfaces.
- Familiarity with CSS, Flexbox, TailwindCss and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Back-End Development:
- Familiarity with RESTful services and microservices architecture.
- (Preferred) Expertise in RedwoodJS framework for full stack development.
- (Preferred) Proven experience building GraphQL APIs with RedwoodJS and PrismaDB.
- DevOps & Cloud:
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), and serverless architectures.
- Workflow Orchestration:
- (Preferred) Working knowledge of Temporal for building reliable, scalable workflows and background jobs.
- Databases:
- Proficiency in working with PrismaDB for efficient data modeling and querying.
- Experience with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB) databases.
- (Preferred) Payments experience
- Worked with finance applications
- Understand basic accounting principles
